On behalf of the entire Greens Department, I would like to offically welcome all of you home. If you are not in the 1pm shoutgun, please come out to the club this evening and enjoy the festivities. Today is a day of celebration, a day to be proud, and a day to be remembered. Don't miss out on this experience. The Board of Governors and staff and worked tirelessy to plan a fun filled weekend for every segement of the membership. You are all to be commended for your patience and understanding and this entire weekend is a great big THANK YOU to all of you.
I can't wait to hear that siren go off at 1pm sharp!!!

Chipping Green to Close Monday and Tuesday!!
The chipping green complex will be closed to the membership on Monday and Tuesday of next week. We will be removing the old sand and installing the Klingstone liner and new ProAngle bunker sand. We hope to have this project wrapped up by Tuesday evening, but there is a chance it may linger into Wednesday.
As a reminder, these bunkers were not done during the renovation so the membership still had their practice facitilies available during the course closure. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Good News...Good News...
The putting green is now open and available for your use. With the grand opening scheduled for two weeks from today, I thought it was important to get this green open and let all of you get use to the new putting surfaces.
There are a couple of need to know items regarding the opening of the new putting green:
1. If the green shows signs of stress, I reserve the right the close it again.
2. Please NO CHIPPING on this green!
3. Please DO NOT stand in the same place for an extended period of time.
4. Start getting excited about the Grand Opening in two weeks!!!
I hope you all enjoy the new practice putting green and I eagerly await your feedback. As a reminder, our old green measured just over 6100 sqft and our new green is now 8600 sqft. There are now 8 practice cups to choose from so everybody should be able to find adequate space to practice. ENJOY!!!

Temporary Tent
Yesterday, construction began on a temporary tent structure to house our golf course equipment. As many of you know, we have had to keep many pieces of equipment outside in the elements while we wait for the construction of our new maintenance building to commence. We anticipate this structure being in place until roughly November, when we hope to moving into our new home. The cost for this structure was covered by our insurance company.
